How do I get the best fit with my ViSound Air?

ViSound Air™ is designed to sit gently in your lower concha (the inner bowl of your ear) — no ear tips, no deep insertion, no pressure.

Because of its unique stemless design, the fit works a little differently than traditional earbuds. Here's how to get it right.

How to insert ViSound Air

  1. Hold the earbud between your thumb and index finger with the speaker facing your ear canal.
  2. Gently place it into the lower concha — the natural bowl just below your ear canal opening.
  3. Give it a slight twist until it sits flush and feels stable. You shouldn't need to push it in.
  4. The earbud should feel like it almost disappears — no pressure, no soreness.

If it feels like it's sticking out or wants to fall, try rotating it slightly forward or backward until it clicks into the natural contour of your ear.

What a good fit feels like

  • The earbud sits flush inside the ear — barely visible from the outside
  • You feel no pressure on your ear canal or cartilage
  • It stays in place when you nod, talk, or move around
  • Sound is clear with a natural seal

What if they don't feel right?

Feeling loose: Try rotating the earbud slightly. Everyone's ear shape is different — a small angle change often makes a big difference. Also make sure you're using the correct L/R earbud for each ear.

Feeling uncomfortable after a while: ViSound Air is 3 grams — if you feel pressure, the earbud is likely positioned too deep or at the wrong angle. Reposition it higher or lower in the concha.

Falling out during movement: This usually means the earbud is sitting too shallow. Twist it slightly inward so it nestles into the deeper part of the ear bowl.

Give it a few days

Many customers find that the fit feels more natural after 2–3 uses, once you learn the angle that works best for your ears. It's a different sensation than traditional earbuds — lighter, smaller, and more discreet.

If you've tried everything and the fit still isn't working, our 60-day return policy has you covered. Just reach out to support@vionb.com and we'll take care of it.
