ViSound™ Open is designed to sit on your ear, not in it. Once you get the hang of it, putting them on takes just a few seconds.
How to put them on
- Identify the left and right earbuds. Each one is marked L (left) and R (right).
- Hold the earbud by the speaker pod (the rounded end with the driver).
- Hook the flexible silicone arm over the top of your ear, like you would with the arm of a pair of glasses.
- Let the speaker pod rest just in front of your ear canal — close enough to direct sound toward your ear, but never inside it.
- Adjust the position slightly until the earbud feels secure and the speaker is aimed at your ear opening.
That's it. No insertion, no pressure, no pushing anything into your ear.
What a good fit feels like
- The ear-hook sits gently around the top of your ear, like a thin pair of reading glasses.
- The speaker pod is just outside your ear canal, not touching the canal at all.
- You feel the earbud is secure but with no pressure points.
- Sound is clear and full — if it sounds thin or distant, reposition the speaker pod slightly closer to your ear opening.
Tips
- Take a few minutes the first time. Open-ear earbuds feel different from traditional earbuds. Most people get the perfect position within their first session.
- Use a mirror the first couple of times to see exactly how the hook sits on your ear.
- The fit gets more natural with use — the silicone softens slightly and conforms to your ear shape over the first few days.
