My ViSound Open won't pair — what should I do?

If your ViSound™ Open isn't pairing or connecting properly, don't worry — it usually takes less than a minute to fix.


Step 1 — Reset the earbuds

A quick reset clears old connections and refreshes the Bluetooth link.

  1. Make sure the earbuds are powered on and not connected to any device.
  2. Double-tap the speaker pod of either earbud, then immediately press and hold for 2 seconds.
  3. The earbud will power off — the reset is complete.
  4. Put the earbud back in the case for a moment, then take it out again to power it back on in pairing mode.

Step 2 — Forget the old connection

On your phone or device:

  1. Go to Bluetooth settings.
  2. Find "YYK-Q16" in your paired devices list. (This is the Bluetooth name for ViSound™ Open.)
  3. Tap "Forget" or "Unpair".

Step 3 — Re-pair from scratch

  1. Make sure the earbuds are powered on and in pairing mode (just taken out of the case).
  2. In your Bluetooth settings, search for available devices.
  3. Select "YYK-Q16" and tap to connect.

Still not working?

  • Make sure no other Bluetooth headset is connected to your device.
  • Try pairing with a different device to rule out a phone-side issue.
  • Ensure the earbuds have charge — if the lights don't turn on at all, charge the case for 30 minutes and try again.
